Hey Ladies,
I purchased a few items back a couple of months ago and promised I would come back with my reviews on them.
First up were the Boscia Sake Brightening Eye Masks:
I haven't got through the pack because I've honestly been pregnant and lazy especially with beauty routine LOL, but I did give them a good whirl and honestly didn't notice too much of a difference. I love the cooling effect, but other than that I didn't notice much so I'll probably try out another product once I use them up!
Next product was the Sephora Fine Line Eyeliner:
This product I really loved!! It gives a nice thin line because of its fine tip and also lasts all day! I've used quite a few eyeliner products and I really fine this one to be great and will definitely repurchase this product :)

Beauty Tid Bits I've Learned!!
Hey Dolls,
As I was doing my makeup this morning, I started thinking about how much I have learned about beauty and makeup over the past few years, mostly from You Tube. It's such an incredible dictionary and wealth of information these days and I'm thankful :) I've rounded up a list of 7 top things that I have learned since becoming involved in this wonderful community.
1). It's not the products, but the application
- Don't get me wrong, I have some top beauty fav's, but at the end of the day, you can get soooo many great products that work equally as well and it really comes down to how you apply it.
2). Less is more
- Yes I know everyone says this, but boy is this ever true!! I look back on some of my pics and I noticed that I used more product and it def looks more natural when you apply anything subtly.
3). Yes eye makeup opens your eyes
- Boy is this ever true! Just notice the next time you take off your makeup leave one eye with makeup and one without, it makes a world of a difference and anytime I don't wear it everyone says, "oh you look sooo sleepy" lol.
4). Get rid of that face fuzz!
- So just about everyone has some face fuzz and most of it is actually light and not even noticeable, but makeup application goes on like wonders if you get rid of that crap. I used the old fashioned blades that I get from a beauty supply store and they work beautiful. They even help with hair around the eyebrows. Not to mention, its exfoliating your skin as you do it! You're moisturizer and makeup will look much more flawless without this peach fuzz :p
5). Eyebrows define everything!
- Honestly without your eyebrows properly groomed, everything else will not look as good. You must groom them and also fill in sparse areas with a similar eye shadow shade or an eyebrow filler of your choice.
6). Skin Care is CRUCIAL!
- Without proper skin care, no makeup will look good! You really have to start from the inside out and take good care of your skin. This will insure the best makeup application!
7). Lastly, YES makeup (if done properly) makes EVERYONE look better!
- Personally I don't feel that I "need" to wear makeup, but I feel better when I do. I feel like I'm put together and not walking out in my PJ's. DO yourself a favor and sit down and watch some you tube vidoes on proper application. This will be life changing and if done properly, you end up highlighting your best features and just looking like a better version of yourself and who doesn't want that??!!
I could really go on and on, but these are a bunch of ones that just popped in my head and wanted to share! What have you learned over the years? Would love to hear them :)

Holiday Gift Card Purchases (HAUL)
Hey Dolls,
Before I go further, I want to tell you that I did get everything on my 2015 Wish List :)...(yes I'm spoiled, but shhhh). Anyway, I did get some lovely Sephora gift cards for Christmas as well and have been eyeing the Makeup Forever Ultra HD Foundation, so I decided to go and get color matched. I got matched to Y215 and got a sample to try it because I didn't want to spend the money on it and not like it, so samples rock and I love that Sephora is generous with them!
So, while I was there I repurchased the Tarteguard 30 Sunscreen Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 30 by Tarte. This is an amazing moisturizer and it has natural SPF which I love.

I also picked up 2 unexpected items. I've been craving a nice liquid black eyeliner lately and decided to try one from Sephora's Line, since I think that cosmetic line doesn't get enough love to be honest...their products are super! I went with the Fine Line: Waterproof 24 HR Fine Liner.
Lastly as I was checking out, I noticed a cute little limited edition LaVanilla Deodorant in mini size called Vanilla Snowberry Mini. I've tried them before and its the only natural one I've ever tried that actually worked for me!
I will come back with an update of these products once I try them out and get a great opinion of them!

Lastest Beauty Purchase
Hey Dolls,
Lately I've been eyeing the innovative eye masks. I've seen many celebs, such as Kourtney Kardashian wearing these and thought they might be nice to try, but didn't want to spend a crazy amount of money so I waited until I found a reasonably priced pack. This brings me to my latest trip to Sephora and found that Boscia had a version of these hydration cooling eye gel pads called Boscia Sake Brightening Hydrogel Eye Masks. Their's claim to " Revive the skin around the delicate eye area with these Sake Brightening Hydrogel Eye Masks. Infused with sake, antioxidants, and plant extracts, they work to brighten, firm, hydrate, and reduce the look of fine lines while restoring skintone and texture to prep skin for your skincare regimen."
I decided to buy them and just tried them for the first time last night. The feeling of using them is wonderful because they are very cooling and not inconvenient. You can put them on and then go about your business and then when they come off you are to supposed to rinse or anything and just rub in the left over residue into the skin.
They are C$19.00 for 3 pairs, so I thought that was a reasonable price, especially when SK-II sells them for well over a $150.
I'm going keep trying these and report back on my findings but first impressions definitely have been positive.
Have you tried any of these eye treatments?? If so what ones and did they work??

Christmas 2015 Wish List
Hey Dolls,
Thought I would show you what I have on my wish list this year :)
First up, alot of my makeup brushes are shedding and have been for some time. These are Sigma brushes which I purchased years ago...at least 4-5 years ago. They are great but decided to try out the Real Techniques this time...
Next up, is the Anastasia Contour Palette. I wasn't too much on the band wagon with these palettes, but I know the Kardashian's swear by them and also, my Bobbi Brown Bronzer just cracked and won't close :( I can use this palette as a regular bronzer as well so I thought the purchase would make since, or whoever buys it for me hehehe.
Next up, is the Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colour in Amethyst. I'm all about easy makeup these days so I love the idea of just easily applying this all over the lid and a little liner and then done.
Lastly, is an electric toothbrush lol. Its the Philips Sonicare HealthyWhite, which I've heard great things about this one and I love that it has a 2 min timer because as much as I like to think i brush for 2 mins, I know darn well sure I don't lol
Anyway, would love to know some of your wish list items for Christmas 2015 :)

Tried, Tested & Approved
Hey Dolls,
As usual its been a while, but as I was putting myself together this morning before heading out Christmas Shopping, I realized while using 2 products that I really should share! There really is no better recommendation than from someone who continues to repurchase the same product because they love it so much. These days there are sooo many options when going to buy a beauty product, that sometimes I end up not buying anything because I get overwhelmed with the amount of options. Well here are 2 products that I have purchased and repurchased and will continue to repurchase :)
Hands down my FAV mascara is Urban Decay Perversion Mascara (and let me tell you, I have tried my fair share). As with many mascaras, it is best once its been open for a while so its not as wet. It truly has the best volume and lengthening that I've ever used and I just love it! I buy mine at Sephora, but I'm sure many online places sell it including Urban Decay themselves!
The second item would be used to remove this baby, but it can also be used as a cleanser, which I've been doing these days. Its Bioderma and it removes makeup like a dream. I put some on a cotton pad and hold it over eyes for a short time and it literally takes off everything! It runs a little pricey at around $21 CAN but it truly lasts me for a very long time, at least a few months, if not more. A small amount of this will do your whole face. No water needed, just dry face off afterward and apply moisturizer or whatever your next step is after removing makeup and cleansing :) I get mine at Shoppers Drug Mart here in Canada and to be honest thats the only place I have found it, but I'm sure its on Amazon these days as well :)

Life Lately
Life really hasn't been too busy lately but it does feel like its gone by sooo fast! We purchased our first house back in July which def felt 'grown up' lol...
Beauty wise, I have been shopping my own stash and being very lazy! Minimal makeup this summer. The only real new makeup product I bought since my last post the Becca Blush in Flowerchild...she's a beauty ladies!

I re-purchased a Mac Pro Longwear Concealer and will continue to do so unless I found another concealer that could top this bad boy! lol
Haven't really been into exploring new products lately and won't buy anything unless I'm absolutely obsessed. There is one product that if I can get my hands on here in Canada, I would buy in a heartbeat and that's the Chanel ILLUSION D'OMBRE in New Moon but I can't find it anywhere!
Anyway, just stopping in and if any of you know where to get my hands on this beauty, please share :)
